Travel sketching workshop
in Lisbon, Portugal
26 to 28 June 2020
Capital of Portugal, Lisbon is one of the most charismatic and dynamic cities in Western Europe.
Facing the ocean, the city of the seven hills knows how to conquer the hearts of its visitors thanks to a sumptuous mix of traditions and modernity. The light of Lisbon attracts and seduces.
This travel Sketching monograph aims to discover Lisbon differently, through drawing and watercolor.
It also has a personal and creative approach to travel sketching.
During our walks in Lisbon, we will learn to develop our sense of observation to reproduce in images a little of everything around us: buildings and emblematic elements of the urban landscape, characters, street scenes, etc.
We will discover some essential foundations of urban drawing, such as perspective, framing and composition, and learn to do without them to make our drawings more spontaneous.
We will play with the light of Lisbon, its colors and shapes.
We will also explore complementary techniques to drawing, such as collage, typography and watercolor.
Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June 2020: From 10h a 17h. (incl. lunch break)
We’ll confirm the meeting point and program to the participants by email.
